Birthday Wish List

In Less than a month I will be celebrating my birthday; another year that flew by and brings me closer to becoming 30. No, I will not be 30 yet.

So today I wanted to share with you my wish list (aka family members, friends, hub and everyone else who plan on buying a present). LOL!

1. Longchamp Le Pliage Bag. This bag is just gorgeous and it’s been in my list for some time now, I love how you can dress this up and down in so many different ways.

2. An IPSY Subscription for 3 months (sorry I wanted only one but the least they sell is 3). I’ve been dying to try this. After unsubscribing from Birchbox 2 years ago I would love to try this one out. I’ve been eyeing what people receive and I think it’s totally worth it.

3. A piece of coconut cake with Vanilla Ice Cream (Just Heaven!)

4. MAC Lipstick in Ravishing (Ok I own 2 MAC lipsticks but honestly I heard amazing things about this color)

Until Next Time,

The Moisturizer from Hell

I am a big fan of Burt Bee’s products, and I also love hand moisturizers. So I could not contain my excitement a while ago when I saw a Kit that included some great products from this brand.

I’ve always said that if you are buying Burt Bee’s go for the Kits, because you are getting much more for your money. This Kit had amazing products; it came with their pomegranate lip balm, cuticle oil, a pretty makeup bag and the almond milk beeswax hand crème (which I was dying to try out), however, I now differ.

Ok this is a VERY THICK moisturizer with a nice and natural almond scent; this product is designed for people who suffer from dry hands and a little tiny bit goes a long way, but the bad thing is that it literally left a film in my hands and I couldn’t do anything after applying it, so for a lot of months this jar was shuttered in my bathroom counter. There were times when I just stared at it whispering “Why don’t you just die?!!”

As it did not want to perish, I decided that I would use it for my feet. This due to the fact that my Body Shop’s Coconut Body Butter is long gone. I started by applying this product every single night after the shower and went with a pair of socks. Amazingly, next day my feet would look great.

Now, I do not recommend you to apply it and then run out the door with flats or stilettos, because my feet would slide and that is dangerous. That is why I apply it at night and the next morning will be completely absorbed.

Would I repurchase? I don’t think so because it is a hand moisturizer and I didn’t like it as is. No doubt that works great for my feet, but I have tried other moisturizers that work as well and will not test my non-gymnastics skills while walking. However, I did like the other two products from the kit, that cuticle oil is amazing and their lip balms work great as well.

Have you used this product? If so what are your thoughts?

Until Next Time,

This looks Fishy

There is nothing like a free afternoon at home, so if you know me I don’t have much cooking skills and truthfully every time I try to cook a new dish I have a hard time, so no wonder I love my little electric oven.

This was a gift from my mom last Christmas and I don’t know how I could live without this little fella in the past. It cooks all my veggies (leaving them crispy), fish, and chicken plus does it fast without any hassle.

This is what I decided to do:

Fish with Veggies

What an original name (NOT), but hey this is easy peasy, I just placed the fish and asparagus’ in a Pyrex with olive oil, salt and pepper.

Placed it in the oven checking continuously for the fish to get cooked and done. I only prepared a side salad with lemon and some fresh strawberries (because I need my dessert).

And it all tasted delicious if you ask me!

Until Next Time,

xoxo

Project Downsize | Shadows, Mascara & Lippies

Keeping up with my drawers downsize well today we have A LOT to cover, so I would suggest you to go and prepare a cup of your favorite tea/coffee, ‘cuz this is quite a bonanza.

Eyeshadows. I actually thought that this would be a hard drawer to deal with, but in the end it really wasn’t NOTE TO SELF THOUGH: Don’t buy anymore Eyeshadows PLEASE!

Liners & Mascara. Easy Peasy! and I am set with Mascara until 2016

Lippies of all Kind.Oh Boy was this drawer hard to Clean! This made me realize that I am Lipstick obsessed.

So now I am halfway through, but need to hurry in cleaning those drawers, however I had notice that I have found products that I didn’t remember where there and now I am using them which is great, because isn’t that the purpose when you buy some makeup? You don’t want it as display you want to use it.

Until Next Time,

xoxo

Review | The Wet Brush

Great for detangling wet and dry hair, wigs and extensions, that is the first thing that caught my eye when I saw this brush at Sally Beauty Supplies. Honestly I was in the need of a new hair brush because the one that I normally use should not be called a brush anymore.

Before rushing to Sally’s I saw this product at The Beauty Department site, they said that it was a great brush and I thought well I might as well go and check it out. When I saw it this was priced $8.99 USD, but as my mom is a pro preferred member at the store I ended up paying $5.00 USD (Yay!)

So this brush has flexible bristles that help detangle your hair without any pain, in the past I did not use to have any problems with tangles, but now that my hair is longer I do suffer detangling it, and I must admit I did have some split ends because I was a little rough with my hair.

Well, I don’t have that problem anymore because this brush is AMAZING, another great thing is, I do have some fake bangs and this brush is great for detangling them. So if you own a wig, some bangs, or have extensions this brush is great for that.

I am now imagining that if you have kids with really tangled hair this might be helpful as well. I also heard that this was greater than the so famous “Tangle Teezer” I could not corroborate that because I have not used it, BUT I do know that the Wet Brush is less expensive because when I was at Sally’s the Tangle Teezer was $15.00 USD and it doesn’t even have a handle (Just Saying!).

So yep I do recommend this product, it is great and it comes in different colors, my Sally had Black and Purple, but I have seen it in Pink and Turquoise over the internet.

Until Next Time

Nivea Lip Butters | Not That Special!

I love Lip Butters, I remember my love started when I was at Sephora once and saw the little Korres Lip Butters, those white little pots with colored caps, made me smile, not only I liked the design, when I tried them up man that was a whole different experience in the lip balm world for me.

So when I heard about the NIVEA lip butters, I was curious, not only where they lip butters, but they were not as expensive as the Korres ones. After seeing people rave about them I decided to get one for myself. And here you can see what I think about them.

Have you tried these? Which are your thoughts?

Until Next Time,

xoxo
