Project Pan 2014

Hey everybody, I’m back from a couple of weeks of hard working! This past few weekend I had the opportunity of visiting my parents in a very very short trip I had to make. I really enjoyed it, but If I am honest with you I am very very tired, maybe it was the lack of sleep lol. But anyways today I wanted to talk about my new and beloved PROJECT PAN, I did one of these some time ago and while cleaning my makeup stuff a couple of weeks ago realized that I really needed to start one ASAP.

There’s something about Project Pans that makes me love them and hate them at the same time, because I get to use what I have in my stash, but at the same time I am not allowed to buy makeup which hurts when you love makeup hahaha! Anyways in today’s video I talk about my new project pan the products that will be there and will be posting updates very soon, cuz really a couple of weeks have passed since I started (I have no shame!).

Products Included:

  • Tarte Park Ave Princess Bronzer
  • NAKED Palette Shadows (Virgin, Sin, Sidecar, Darkhorse (finish), Hussle (hit pan))
  • LUSH Bubble Gum Lip Scrub
  • NARS Orgasm Illuminator
  • MAC ProLongwear Concealer
  • Makeup Forever HD Foundation
  • AHAVA Hand Moisturizer

Until Next Time,

Xoxo

Frugal Friday: Battle of the Blushes

Hello everyone, welcome to another segment of Frugal Friday’s, where saving money matters, without sacrificing looking smocking hot. So today is blush talk, you know it I just love blush (and mascara), sometimes I think I go a bit overboard with it, but hey I love looking like grandma (just kidding!!) anyways today competitors are:

Hard Candy Fox in a Box Smooth Talker Blush ($6.00 USD) vs. Benefit Sugarbomb Blush ($28.00 USD)

I bought the Hard Candy blush a long time ago, I think it was when they first came out, and I thought that benefit blushes were way expensive for me. So Smooth Talker comes with four different shades that you can mix to create a wonderful color; I would say it leaves this pretty peach cheek color overall. It also comes with a small brush that I think has no use, so I disregarded that one immediately and started using my blush brush (May I suggest one from Real Techniques?). This has no scent as the benefit blushes (you know, they say that these smell like candy and rainbows), but it is no bother for me at all, I mean is not that I need a nice scent in my cheeks to look good. Overall good product and for the price, I do prefer this one instead of the CoverGirl (which scent reminds me to my grandma) blushes.

Now for Benefit Sugarbomb you can see that the design is very similar I mean it comes in this box and has 4 colors which I also see are very similar. Now I have not used this exact product but I have used other benefit blush (Bella Bamba) and they do smell like candy and rainbows. At first you don’t notice it that much but as you keep using the product scent becomes more noticeable. They also come with a brush with may look a bit better than the hard candy one, but still I don’t think that it is the optimal blush application brush. The tap separates from the product which I think is not that convenient especially if you are on the run, I prefer the tap of the hard candy because it is attached to the box. And lastly the price it is expensive. The only way is buying a kit (And that’s how I got Bella Bamba), because if I had to pay for this I rather get a NARS blush, but that’s just me.

So yep in this case I would go for the Hard Candy Blush, I think it is a good drugstore option and you can really make it work. I hope this information is helpful for you.

Have you tried any of these blushes, if so what’s your opinion?

Until Next Time,

xoxo

And my Wish List?

This past month I’ve been doing research and helping others with Christmas ideas, but today I sat and started thinking, what is my Christmas wish list…well my sister and my mom already asked if I wanted something special, and I could not remember something I would like to receive, so I only added “you can get me a gift card” But giving it more thought these are a couple of things that are really in my wish list.

  • Urban Decay NAKED Basics. Ok so Urban Decay strikes again, now with a small and more compact palette with 6 “neutral-matte” shadows. At $27.00 USD, I think it is a pretty good deal if you don’t have anything like this. For instance my sister only owns one makeup palette and would be in the great need of one of this. It looks cute, and I would really like to try it out.

  • Josie Maran Argan Oil. I am oily skin over the summer and a bit combination during winter, so you would ask why the heck you want to add more oil to your face. Well the truth is that I’ve been reading reviews about this thing and they say it’s amazing, some even say that heals acne. I really want to try it out so I would ask for the small size because this thing is expensive .05 oz cost $14.00 USD and 1.7 oz cost $48.00 USD.

  • NARS Wicked Attraction Set. Now this set it’s quite interesting, it includes a small sample of my beloved eyeshadow primer, a single eyeshadow in fanthom, a mini larger than life lip gloss in spring break, and the most famous duo orgasm blush and laguna bronzer. At $48.00 I think is a pretty good deal.

  • Bobbi Brown Makeup Manual (For Everyone from Beginner to Pro). I love Bobbi Brown, I love her products and I love her books, so I’ve really been desiring this book for a while now. At $14.00 from Barnes and Noble I think it is a very good deal.

And that’s it for my wish list we will have to see what happens when Santa comes this Christmas jeje,

What’s on your wish list?

Until Next Time,

xoxo
