What’s New at the Drugstore

Hey everybody, happy Monday! I am just recovering from a power nap I had, I just love naps, I don’t normally take naps, but when I do I feel so refreshed and my mind is clear and ready to keep going, but today we are not talking about naps. Today I will be talking about what’s new at the drugstore, it’s been a while since I did one of these, and lately all the brands have decided to release new products, I will be showing you what they are and giving you some reviews on some I have already tried. So stay tuned and enjoy!

Until Next Time,

Kiss My Nails

I LOVE painting my nails, so for a couple of months I had these nails stickers I received from Kiss, I got them as a price when I won a challenge from Influenster, but really was in the fence of trying them on, in the past I tried the nail strips from Sally Hansen and I must say I really didn’t like them.

So the other day I wanted something edgy and thought of giving Kiss a try.

Now, I don’t know if I have become more skilled doing stuff to my nails because these were pretty easy to apply, I just filled my nail a little then just peeled the sticker and placed it in my nail.

I just did an accent nail because the stickers are a little bit flamboyant for my taste and just went with one of my favorite Rimmel nail polishes Pink-a-Boo

I loved these because they were easy to apply, no need to wait for them to dry and I have had them for 4 days now and just a little bit chipping in my right nail (but I admit I did house shores), the only thing though is that I only wished they had more designs like the Sally Hansen Do.

So if you are looking for something quick to glam up your nails, give these a try.

Until Next Time

Review | Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers

Hey everyone so I am back on my reviews, I have a lot of new stuff to talk about and I was pretty excited to find these on my drugstore the other day. I am talking about the Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer, now they were released in the UK quite some time ago and now they came to the States, but they renamed them to Show Off Lip Lacquer, I was unsure at first that they were the same, but then I saw the display did say Apocalips (weird right?).

Anyways, I purchased two lip colors for the sake of this review the first one Apocaliptic a bright magenta color and Celestial a more neutral tone. Rimmel claims that this product has the intense and rich color of a lipstick enhanced by a smooth satin shine, ultra-intense, ultra-comfortable- it lasts all day. Packed with pure color pigments, lusciously creamy, conditioning formula promises a never-before combination of color, shine and comfort that last and last.

Now for the sake of this review I applied both of these colors and proceeded with my normal activities of the day.

Using Celestial

Using Apocaliptic

First of all these are dangerous, if you are looking for an easy application on the go this won’t give it to you because you have to be very careful when you apply them (especially the bright colored ones).

These are full coverage they are not joking. If you were expecting a tinted lip gloss let me tell you this is like a liquid lipstick.

Product is completely transferrable, after a couple of hours that I applied this product it was lunch time (and I had to eat) so this buddy got all over my food (and my chin) I was eating a sandwich and my bread had lip color all over it.

On the other hand as the product doesn’t dry, your lips won’t feel dry either.

Let me say that I’m still on the fence playing with them, if I had to pick I would go for the neutral colors only because they are easier to apply and you don’t have to be THAT careful when you apply them (and eat with them). But, if you really want a BRIGHT and VIBRANT color this product will give it to you, you just need to be very careful and have a mirror close to you.

Now for the people who are in the run and have no time for checking in the mirror (honestly who does), I would not recommend it because honestly I ate and had lip color all over my chin which is not something I would enjoy.

Has anyone used these so far? Did you like them?

Until Next Time,

xoxo

Review | Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless Mascara

Hey everyone, so today I have a review for all of you I am pretty excited about this one because if you know me I am a big Mascara Fan. I don’t know why, but every time I see a new mascara I just want to try it out.

Today I have this Mascara from Rimmel which I received Compliments from Influenster, I have been an Influenster subscriber for quite some time now and I have received a couple of products to Review in the past, but I’ve never received a Mascara, so when I got contacted by them for this I had to go for it. Luckily I got selected and my mascara arrived in the mail last week. Disclaimer: I received this product compliments of Influenster for Testing Purposes, however you know me all opinions here are my own .

So basically Rimmel states: The Grow-Lash Complex of Procapil, Keratin and Antioxidants conditions lashes for soft, lush beauty day after day. After 30 days, lashes appear longer, stronger and more numerous! The lash-catching brush gives you perfect separation for a clump-free result and the new micro-fibre formula allows lashes to stay flexible, never stiff or brittle.

A lot right? Well lets go to the pics…basically you can see in the first picture I just applied my makeup and did not have any mascara you can see in here that my lashes look kind of short.

Next, you can see me with 2 coats of mascara I previously curled my lashes, you can definitely see the difference right?

Last, and this is what I’ve been doing, you can see that in the previous pics my lashes don’t seem that curled, well I always have this problem with Mascaras (Damn you Straight Lashes!!) and I know that this is not a curling mascara so what I did was I waited for it to dry and curled my lashes once again (I know people say this is baaaad but), this is what made me believe that this mascara is flexible, If I do this with other mascaras my mascara will break and I will have mascara bits all over my face, but with this one I don’t and I have been using it for a week and so far so good.

For the 30 day claim, well I would not be sure because basically I’ve been using this baby for only a week, but in the end I just love this mascara, it is amazing and I will continue using it. Most probably I will end up buying it once this is gone!!

Until Next Time,

xoxo

Get Rid of Dark Circles Using this Inexpensive Concealer

I love drugstore products; they never seize to amaze me. The past couple of days I was in the search of an inexpensive concealer; I have been using my Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer for 2 years now and even though it works wonders I consider it a bit heavy. So now that spring is on and summer is coming I needed something lighter (and due to the fact that I started breaking out).

Honestly I did want to save money so I went straight to the drugstore and found this:

Meet the Rimmel Match Perfection 2 in 1 Concealer & Highlighter; for $4.97 (at Wal-Mart) this little tube can help you get rid of your dark circles while brightening your under eye area. In theory this product covers imperfections and “adapts to your skin tone”, it also comes with a brush that helps you apply the product under your eye area.

My Opinion is short and simple; this product is light, very easy to blend and covers my dark circles amazingly.

Also, this product works great for people that like me wear glasses. This is because when you wear glasses, you need to highlight your under eye area or else you look tired and dull. Or at least that is what happens to me when I don’t.

So YES, I would recommend this product if you want to get rid of your dark circles while giving your under eye area a nice glowy look.

Until Next Time,

xoxo

Project Pan Update

Hello everyone, so today I have a project pan update and a reformulation (in video)!! Now that summer it’s here some of the products I had included in my project pan (which I started since winter) have been breaking me out or have not been nice to me. So I decided to reformulate my project pan. This would be kind of like a Summer Edition jeje..
