Want Straight Hair?

My hair is wavy and sometimes it’s just very hard to tame. Anyways, there are just times when I need my hair to look like if a pro straightened it without going to the salon (‘cuz you gotta save those bucks); for those occasions I use my John Frieda 3-day Straight Styling Spray. I think I did a post on this one when I was starting my blog, but now I wanted to make a video to show you how wonderful this product is.
Enjoy!

Spring Nails

I’ve been hearing here and there that spring is right around the corner, I think I’ve mentioned in a couple of posts as well, but dang I am so cold today that I don’t see winter giving me a break any time soon. Anyways, that didn’t stop me from playing with spring colors on my nails.

On Saturday, I went and got my gel nails removed because 1. They grew 2. I didn’t want them anymore and 3. I needed some color in my nails. You could say I got overboard, but I think I saw a similar look in a post I read last week and I saw it in a YouTube video. I just thought it was so cute, and even though it took some Frankenstein Collection of Nail Polishes I am very happy with the results, only hopping that this will last the entire week.

Nail Polishes I used:

  • Wet n Wild – I Need a Refresh Mint
  • Nabi – Neon Light Pink
  • Sinful Colors – Unicorn
  • Essie – Turqoise & Caicos
  • Revlon – Gum Drop

Until Next Time,

xoxo

Taking Care of My Feet

This is something I never thought I would write about, but honestly I think that taking good care of feet is part of a healthy beauty regimen. Normally I would hear/read, tons of publications about how to take care of your feet over the summer, because that’s when your pretty little toes are exposed, but what about winter time?

Well maybe you can forget about them while wearing socks and boots, but I do think that it is especially important to take good care of them over this season. This is why I am here today with a short how do I take care of my feet.

This is a regimen I’ve been working on because my heels and cuticles tend to get very dry over the winter and now that summer is coming I do want my feet nice and polished ready to wear sandals and wedges. I shower at night after going to the gym, so before going to bed y follow these steps.

  1. Use a wooden orange stick. With this I just back my cuticles a bit, I don’t like cutting my cuticles (because I think it’s creepy) so I just make sure they are in place.

  2. Apply cuticle oil. I am currently using a cuticle oil bottle my mom got me in a manicure set, but you can use any cuticle oil you have available (normally sold at beauty stores), and leave it on for a couple of seconds (10 Mississippi’s will do).

  3. Massage your cuticles. Oil will help moisturize your pretty little toes so give a little massage with the oil.

  4. Apply a rich nourishing cream. If you have foot cream yeii for you, if not any moisturizer will do. Just keep in mind that the thicker the better.

  5. Put some socks. I like to use thick and fuzzy socks I believe that they help keeping the moist in place. And besides they are just fun to use.

And that’s it; with practice this takes you less than 5 minutes, but will give you the most gorgeous feet over the summer.

What do you do to take care of your feet?

Until Next Time,

xoxo

How to Take Care of Gel Nails

Gel nails, they look so nice and polished when you have them on, but honestly you do have to take care of them. I got gel nails a week ago and even though I love how they look and have saved me a lot of time in doing my nails two times a week, I have been feeling my cuticles some kind of dry so here I am today showing you my nail care routine which it’s easy and leaves my hands soft and gentle.

Until Next Time,

My Skincare Routine

I admit it I am guilty, removing my makeup, washing my face, and applying some moisturizer, should be a must every night. But really there are times when I just get so tired that I just hit my bed WHICH I KNOW IS BAAAAAD!!

So I decided that this year would be different, I am truly compromised to remove my makeup every night before going to bed, and to have a better skincare routine. I know I need something easy, because if I complicate it I will end up doing nothing. So I decided to do this video showing you what’s my skincare routine at the moment.

Plus in the video I talk about a tool that’s been very handy, this is the Olay ProX Cleansing System, I just wrote a review which you can check out here I’ve been using this baby a lot and I love it, I do not have the guts $ to buy a Clarisonic, so I went for this baby quite some time ago, check out the review if you want to know how it works, what it comes with, and the price.

So I hope this is helpful for all of you,

Until Next Time,

xoxo

Hey everybody, so today I have this video/class related to Skin Types. Now, this will be the first of several videos I will be doing about makeup classes. Why am I doing this? Well because I just love makeup and I love sharing all I know this far. I know that I am no expert, but I am sure that I can tell you a few tips I’ve learned on the way.

So I hope you enjoyed, today’s class is mainly focused in helping you to discover which is your skin type, in the video I have a test you can do in order to discover your skin type and show you some of the products you can use especially for your skin.

Hope this is helpful for you and feel free to ask if you have any questions or comments.

Until Next Time,

My Foundation Routine

Today I want to share with you my foundation routine. I think that for a good skin care is necessary to have an established skincare regimen. And for applying your makeup goes the same; god knows that every time I change something in my routine I break out. And that my routines do change from season to season.

So what have I’ve been doing lately?

Maine Attraction NOD

Now that autumn has started my nails have as well, there is something about fall that is very fascinating I just love it. So I wanted to show you my nail of the day, nothing fancy, but the color is amazing. A little background story about this nail polish, I got this from ULTA, they were having a sale over all their own brand polishes from $5.00 USD to $2.00 USD, and I wanted to get more colors but believe me I behaved and only got this one.

I think this is the perfect color for this season:
